(Similar to dragons in my series.) |
In my
series, Dragon’s Attendants, Dragons are simply called Hedar, a term I created
on my own, using a self-made language. Hedar are the creatures closest to Mother
Nature. They are the wisest and strongest tribe and possess an inborn thirst
to conquer and destroy. Yet they end up becoming the most peaceful tribe there
is (the concept of tribes will be explained in book 3).
My
protagonist is closely related to dragons and often in denial of her true
nature. It expresses the way all of us are in denial of our true intentions in
life and our constant struggle to repress our thoughts and feelings, some of us
going back and forth between two extremes. Victoria is in a constant battle
between the Hedar (Dragon) and the Thamuz (human) side of her. But when she
truly accepts both of them, she finds peace within herself.
